Hey guys,
Sorry it took so long for me to write my bio, but man I am getting so excited about India….only a week and half till we meet each other! super crazy and exciting.

Lets see, about me…
I grew up in Mesquite, Texas which is about 20 minutes east of Dallas.  From reading some of yall's bios it appears we have a few other Texans!  haha I love it!   I graduated high school in 2007 and went to Berry College in Rome, Georgia (which is about an hour and half north of Atlanta).  I absolutely love living in Georgia.  I plan on moving to the Atlanta area in August when we return from India.  I love that I was born and raised in Texas, but I really feel for this season of my life the Lord has me in the Atlanta area.  I just graduated college 2 weeks ago with a BA in science.  I majored in Psychology with a minor in Women's studies.  My freshmen year of college the Lord really opened up my eyes to the reality of sex trafficking through a paper I had to write for an English class, and throughout the years of college the Lord continued to place human trafficking on my heart.  During my sophmore year the Lord really led me to have a sincere compassion for sex trafficking and placed a great burden on my heart for it.  I really feel compelled to work in the rehabilitation process of women and children who have been sex trafficked.  I feel so burdened to show them that there is redemption in Christ.
Throughout college I took classes pertaining to sexual harassment and sex trafficking and studied many of the effects of trafficking.  This past year I interned at a sexual assault center which also opened my eyes to the depravity of man and the need for love and compassion to people who have experienced such trauma. I hope my degree will be beneficial in this  area of need.  ha, as of now though, I don't have a job lined up ha or a place to live ha but its all good. lol I am pumped about this summer.  umm…hmm  I went to college to play for the women's soccer team and I also played on the women's lacrosse team.  Aww man, the Lord is so gracious to open those types of opportunities. umm..  I really enjoy playing sports and being outdoors.  I am so thankful for how the Lord truly places us exactly where He wants us.  Its super cool to see how the Lord brings us to where we are.  The past 2 summers I worked at a camp in Andrews, NC called Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters.  It is a wonderful camp that soundly preaches the Gospel.  I have been passionate about missions for a very long time.  I really desire for Christ to be known among the nations…it's what Christ calls us to.  It's a mandate.  This life is so short.  I am so pumped about spending life with you guys these next 2 months.  I can't wait to meet all you guys in a few short days!
